The establishment

Joshua School was established in 2008, starting as a small school with one preschool class. It grew steadily, adding facilities each year, and by 2014, the school was fully equipped to receive formal registration from the Ministry of Education, which was granted in September of that year. The school administered its first national Grade 7 exams in 2016, and its alumni are now pursuing higher education, showcasing both academic and moral excellence.

The school was initially overseen by Mrs. Lynda Stephenson as Director of Education until the end of 2020. In January 2021, she handed over to Mr. Archibold Mushi, who continues to lead the school with a vision for academic and moral advancement.

Special Needs Unit:

In 2021, the school introduced a special needs unit for students with intellectual disabilities and autism, addressing the needs of three students requiring extra support. The unit was formally registered in early 2022 and is continuing to grow fast.

Our Consistency:

Joshua Schools continue to improve academic and moral standards through teacher training and hiring qualified staff. As we continue to grow, we are witnessing significant academic progress being achieved. Our future plans focus on further enhancing academic and moral excellence.

To strengthen its identity as a Christian school, the leadership of the school is seeking to approach the local and national education authority for registration as a Christian seminary aiming to deepen its faith-based approach to education.
